What happens to what you type
Every MoneyOrNot calculator runs entirely in your web browser. The amounts, rates and debts you enter are never sent to us or stored on a server. We don’t have accounts, sign-ups or a database of user inputs, and we don’t use analytics or tracking scripts.
Shareable links
To make scenarios easy to bookmark and share, your inputs are written into the page address (for example ?p=10000&r=7). That address stays in your browser history. If you share the link, whoever opens it sees those numbers. Use the Reset button to clear them.
Server logs
Like any website, the hosting provider may keep standard request logs (IP address, browser type, page requested, time) for security and reliability. Those logs never contain your calculator inputs, unless you open a shared link that has them in its address.
Advertising
MoneyOrNot may show ads to keep the calculators free. When ads are enabled they are served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google’s Ads Settings, or learn more at How Google uses information from sites that use its services. Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA and UK), you’ll be asked for consent before advertising cookies are set.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
